    About this event

Climate change is a global challenge, and our little red dot is taking firm actions to do our part to build a sustainable future.

Earlier this year, the government unveiled the Singapore Green Plan 2030, a “whole-of-nation movement” to advance the national agenda on sustainable development. Spearheaded by a multi-agency taskforce, the plan encompasses new sustainability initiatives across all sectors to change the way people work, study, and play. This green transition will also give rise to new business and job opportunities that are very much welcome as we bounce back and recover from the economic consequences of the historical pandemic.

However, for this plan to materialise, it is vital that the government, civil society and the general public all understand the importance of this plan, what it entails and how each of us can play our own part in building a more vibrant and greener home for ourselves and our future generations.

In this event, we’ll discuss the ins and outs of this ambitious Green Plan: key targets and initiatives, the technologies and innovations that will bring the visions to life, and the role each stakeholder will play in leading the way towards a more sustainable and green future for this sunny island.
