We’re partnering with The Boston Calendar to put top Boston startups on the hot seat in front of a panel of VCs, reporters and industry experts. Along with help from the audience, the panel will grill each startups’ business model and growth strategy, to find out which startups can handle the heat.

August's Hot Seat contestant? LoseIt! LoseIt! is a weight loss app that allows users to set goals, establish a daily calorie budget and stay on track each day by recording food and exercise and staying within your budget.
