The App Idea Awards, hosted by General Assembly, ROKO Labs, NY Harvard Angels and Columbia Venture Community is a competition inviting people to submit app ideas (or apps with less than 1,000 monthly active users). The best submissions will win $70K in app design and development, a pitch deck and launch plan by TBWA, and a spot to pitch for seed investment to the New York Angels.
The judging panel is comprised of representatives from First Round, Samsung Ventures, Greycroft, Norwest, and 645 Ventures.
The event will take place at General Assembly, where the finalists will pitch to the venture capitalists in order to win the grand prize.
Applications close on March 31, 2016. However, finalists will be chosen on a rolling basis starting in January, so the sooner you get in your application, the better chances you have to become a finalist!
