Data-driven Journalism (DDJ) is the process of converting data into a story; there is a particular focus on the visual elements of storytelling. A data scientist relies on these same elements in automated reports, data visualization, and dashboards. The DDJ community offers insight into best practices for effectively communicating visualization information.
