Some practical business applications include fastest route selection, directions on the map, mapping and recovery plan for any disaster events, finding hotels or houses for rent, and finding suitable customer locations.

This event introduces geospatial data and its applications. We will explore concepts of spatial data, acquiring spatial data, types of spatial data, geovisualisation, creating 3D city models. We will also explore essential software for geospatial data analysis and modelling. This also includes integrating python programming for geospatial model building and analysis.
