Taking Ownership: Education | Louisville

About this event

Join General Assembly as we welcome Ofo Ezeugwu of WYL for another fascinating evening of learning.

This time we will be discussing the ever-changing landscape of education.

Technology has increased the average person's access to information and other people ... which also empowers them to build a career that they love.

There is a catch, however ...

Opportunities in this new economy are reliant on relevant skills that aren't acquired by certificates or even diplomas.

In order to build value that will attract employers or customers ... students will have to take ownership of their education to position themselves to be able to solve real problems.

In this discussion, we'll talk about how these real problems are actually opportunities for proactive students to build a desirable future.

We'll also talk about what General Assembly is doing to help its students fill the skill gap and prepare the workforce of the future.
