About this workshop

Get an introduction to the design process, including briefing, ideation, brainstorming, sketching, Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D printing. In this workshop, you’ll gain an understanding of CAD software and 3D printing hardware technologies through examples and demonstrations.

During the workshop you'll have the chance to see a 3D printer at work. And by the end of the workshop, you will have created your own design for a small object (about 5x5x5cm) which will then be 3D printed and ready for you to collect from our campus within 1 month.

Please bring a laptop with the free application 123D Design pre-installed. It's available for Mac and PC.
