About this workshop

Tableau is an incredibly powerful tool for exploring and visualizing your data. Once people understand the power of Tableau they can quickly perform vital business analysis that would take 3-5x times as long with other software tools. When you are finished you’ll have a fully functional capability to harness Tableau’s native powers to aggregate, visualize, filter and segment your data in a way that will breathe new life into your organization.

This 6-hour Tableau 1-Day Fundamentals Workshop is the interactive and hands-on way to get started on learning to visualize your data. You will dive head first into SQL, skill up with exercises, and by the end of the day you'll know how to re-create major charts and turn them into a functional, interactive dashboard.

Prereqs & Preparation

• An installed version of Tableau Public or Tableau Desktop on your computer, which can be found here.
• A data set will either be provided before class via e-mail or day of instruction.
• You do not need any previous experience with Tableau or any other software to take this class.
