About this event

It's true, a business can maintain PROFIT and operate for a valuable social PURPOSE - Social enterprises do exactly that!

Join Textbook Ventures for an evening of learning and inspiration with a panel of three student entrepreneurs (and one special moderator) who have founded impact-generating social enterprises.

In our first Student Startup Stories (SSS) event of the year, we will be delving into the social enterprise space, discussing what drives the founders and their teams, the challenges they have overcome, the sustainable business they have built, and how they have maintained positive impact with little to no cost to society and the environment.

The evening is FREE for all students and open to non-students.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask and submit questions to the panellists for our moderated Q&A session. For students and budding entrepreneurs, this event is also an opportunity to connect with other individuals in the social enterprise community.
