About this event
If you have thought about learning how to write smart contracts on Ethereum, but haven’t had the opportunity to sit down with someone and really figure it out, this workshop is for you. In this workshop we will be giving an introduction to Solidity and we will minimize upfront configuration by utilizing the remix in browser IDE. During this course we will provide a gentle introduction to the core concepts of Solidity Smart contracts, we will be covering strategies to ensure your code is secure and we will develop a simple wallet smart contract. If time permits, we will do further discussion of Solidity best practices and incrementally add features for as long as time allows. We will share digital copies of the solidity documents to all of the participants. For those of you who are excited and want to get a head start you can read the docs at solidity.readthedocs.io Come prepared with your computer and a willingness to learn and you will be impressed by how much you can accomplish in just 2 hours.
Prereqs & Preparation
In this course, you will build a multi-owner solidity smart contract wallet, and you will have a better understanding of Solidity best practices.
