About this event

86 400 is an entirely new type of bank, built for smartphones, focused on helping Australians take control of their money. 86 400’s design team were given the momentous task of designing a simple user experience that tells customers what’s actually going on with their money - providing total visibility of the stuff that matters.

The journey of building a new bank from scratch was no walk in the park. 86 400’s Design Lead, Jessa Jakovljevic shares her 86 400 design journey, and answers:

  • How did 86 400 create a customer centred business and in turn a customer centred product?
  • What did 86 400’s design journey look like?
  • What design frameworks did 86 400 use and how did we embed them into our product strategy?
  • How did 86 400 develop its design style?
