Have you been wondering, just what is a Smart City?

In recent years, cities have become the drivers of government innovation. As urban growth has exploded over the past 50 years— increasing from a third to almost 60 percent of world population today—local officials have been forced to solve problems and generate new ideas, policies, and approaches. With increasing urbanization putting more pressure on governments to innovate, a smart city is a very attractive concept for city officials, citizens and the private sector, and education is needed now!
