We've all heard the adage of, "It's not what you know, it's who you know."
If we really break that down, we can see that it refers to hard skills versus soft skills.
Hard skills are defined as skills you can gain through education, training, certifications, and on-the-job experience. Soft skills, while equally as important as hard skills, are interpersonal (i.e. people) skills that are much harder to define and evaluate.
Soft skills include creative thinking, problem-solving, networking, communication, and emotional intelligence.
This course aims to help guide you in the right direction to develop your own soft skills by proving real-world examples of how to develop soft skills, case studies, as well as shallow dives into the cognitive psychological principles of why soft skills work.
