About this workshop

Keeping your data secure when working online can feel like a minefield but understanding a few key concepts and implementing some basic practices can make your online accounts and activity more secure.

In this workshop, we'll explore what we mean when we talk about online security. When you leave this workshop, you'll be equipped to generate and use strong passwords for your online accounts, incorporate two-factor authentication as an extra layer of security, encrypt the storage on all of your devices, increase your level of security when using wireless networks, and make informed choices about your privacy when using the web.
