Responsive Web Design (RWD) utilizes an approach to design that aims to create sites that provide an optimal viewing experience to the user. The idea is to make sites easy to read and navigate while minimizing resizing, panning, and scrolling, across a wide range of devices — from phones and tablets to laptops and desktops. In this class, you’ll learn all about RWD, how to utilize it, and where it’s headed.
•Find out how to use grid frameworks, create a grid, and use media queries effectively.
•Learn how to make font and images responsive using modern techniques and future in-the-works theories.
•Understand the ideas and principles of RWD and new specifications pertaining to RWD, and how to start incorporating them into your workflow.
Students should have a good knowledge of CSS/HTML. Basic knowledge of new HTML5 elements, new CSS3 properties, and CSS preprocessors (Sass, LESS, SCSS) is useful but optional.\
