Everyone understands the value of surveys in gathering important information and feedback, but there is a huge difference between quick-and-dirty surveys, and surveys that are well planned, constructed, and analysed. When executed correctly, surveys have the ability to provide valid, reliable, and impactful information for your institution, product, or its users.

From this class series, you will gain an appreciation for the breadth and depth of survey research, combined with keys to conducting valid, reliable, and impactful surveys for your own purposes. Lecture and interactive exercises will take you through appropriate applications of surveys, selecting sampling approaches, drafting meaningful questions, avoiding common biases, and considerations for fielding and analysis.
