If you are feeling unmotivated, unhealthy, and out of control, you are not alone. The COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in an experience of collective trauma that taken a toll on our mental and physical health. To navigate the remainder of the pandemic and repair after it’s over, we must think bigger about our collective mental health.
The science of trauma and trauma-informed care frameworks give us an avenue to create a healthier society for all. In this session, we’ll talk about ways we can build mental health into our structures—from the workplace, to public institutions, to our own home. Mental health must be supported at all levels to truly create a world in which we can all thrive.
