From 1 July 2016, there will be significant changes in tax deductions for startup investing as a result of the federal government's “ideas boom”. This is great news for startup founders but only if you have the right tools and knowledge to take advantage of the increased access to capital.
For most of us, thinking like an investor does not come naturally. There's more to pitching an investor than being clear and concise. It requires that you “think” like an investor and understand how they assess “risk” and derive “value”.

This session is great for entrepreneurs and founders looking to raise their very first round of funding for their early stage startup company.
No preparation is needed for this workshop. However, if any founders already have an investor pitch deck or cold approach emails they are happy to share with the class, this is welcome and encouraged.
