Our Free Friday Livestreams are here to give you a bite-sized sample of what you’ll learn in our Workshops, Part Time and Immersive courses.

Are you interested in learning how to unlock data driven insights and write your first line of Python code, but aren’t sure where to start? This Python 101 Livestream is for you!

In this free, two-hour Python livestream, you’ll touch on fundamental Python programming techniques and tools. We’ll discuss its applications in data analysis and web development and the types of problems it can solve. Then apply your new skills to solve a real-world problem with Python. All in real time, taught by an industry professional.

Prereqs & Preparation

  • Python 101 is taken completely online, and requires a computer and a strong internet connection.
  • We will provide a Zoom link on the day of class.

  • A second monitor is strongly recommended.
  • For students on Windows, you’ll need Microsoft Windows 8/10 (32- or 64-bit).
  • For students with Macs, you’ll need the Mac OS X 10.8.5 or higher, up to 10.11.4 (El Capitan).
    To Install Python...
  • Head to Anaconda.com
  • Click the button to download the latest version for Python 3.8.
  • Once downloaded, run the installation prompts.
