About This Workshop

The lean startup methodology favors experimentation over elaborate planning, customer feedback over intuition, and iterative design over traditional "big design up front" development. In this workshop students will learn about agile software development and how to incorporate it as a method to simplify requirements, identify priorities based on resourcing and business value, and most importantly improve collaboration across all key product stakeholders.

Takeaways

  • Understand the lean startup process that determines what product or features to build
  • Understand the stages and sequence that make up the agile method
  • Understand how different roles work together in the agile method

Prereqs & Preparation

This class is for beginners. No prior knowledge required. Students should have an interest in product management, agile development and/or entrepreneurship/innovation.
