About This Workshop

Do you struggle to write web pages, emails, blogs and other digital copy that capture and retain attention? Are you having trouble convincing online visitors and leads to say "Yes!" at the final step?

Well, here’s some invigorating news. You don’t need to be a pro copywriter to convert the curious into customers. The key to writing web copy that emotionally connects and sells is understanding psychological triggers - how people think, behave and make choices when they’re reading your messages. Suited for beginners and business owners who are interested in learning to write compelling copy based on human psychology.

In this 2-hour workshop we’ll:

  • peek inside the human brain to see what people think and feel when they’re engaging with web content.

  • look at tested and proven mental triggers you can use in your copy to convince more potential consumers to take a desired action. Please note:

This workshop is highly interactive with group activities and discussions throughout. To participate you will need to:

  • Have your camera turned on for the entire session
  • Have an accessible microphone
  • Be in a quiet, well-lit space with minimal distractions
  • Strong internet connection

Simon has 24 years’ experience as a digital content specialist including:

  • 16 years running his own digital and AI copywriting, training and consulting business, Get There.

He has produced digital content for, trained staff at, and consulted to hundreds of organisations including:

  • start-ups and SMEs
  • big brands such as Microsoft, PayPal, Johnson & Johnson, Canva, Cochlear, Telstra, Greater Union, ING, Jaguar and VW
  • clients of advertising, digital and SEO agencies

One day Simon plans to tap away at his keyboard from a swinging hammock strung between palm trees on the sugar white sands of Tulum, Mexico.
