Case Study: BNP Paribas Cardif Partners With GA for Product Management Training
Problem: By identifying the professions of tomorrow to support the company development, global insurance leader BNP Paribas Cardif sought to give employees the opportunity to grow their careers — or start new ones.
Solution: As part of its Strategic Workforce Planning initiative, the SKILLS UP programme is a five-year partnership with General Assembly to train employees in future-facing topics, including product management.
Impact: “This is completely unlike traditional training programmes, where you go back to your everyday routine as soon as it’s over. The participants build projects, putting their newly acquired skills into action immediately. And the training programmes deal not only with technical dimensions but also with resources and new methodologies linked to behavioural and relational skills: lean startups, the Agile Method, capacity to work in a multi-disciplinary context, presenting a project, and so on.” — Nathalie Doré, Chief Digital and Acceleration Officer, BNP Paribas Cardif
