How do you view your role in environmental salvation? Most people have a hard time answering this question. Individual environmental efforts feel small, siloed and indirect. Spirited calls to action--"vote for this candidate", "call your representative", "sign our petition", "join our protest", "become a minimalist", "vote with your dollars", and other such solicitations--leave much to be desired.
To put two fingers on what is missing from all the ways that we have been asked to step up to save our planet; it's (1) knowing we are part of something bigger than ourselves and (2) knowing our collective actions are making a meaningful difference. This presentation explores how these two critical elements of collectivist action can be brought to life through the power of consumer choice as a driver of market-based solutions to environmental problems.
