    In this class, you'll:

    • Touch on fundamental Python programming techniques and tools.
    • Discuss its applications in data analysis and web development — and the types of problems it can solve.

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO CLASS FORMAT REGARDING COVID-19

In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation, we have put in place precautionary measures to keep our community safe. As we all make sense of the evolving situation, General Assembly is guided by two priorities: ensuring safety and health while minimising disruption to our learners.

Starting Monday, March 16, we will be moving all in-person programming to a remote learning environment and temporarily closing our campus facilities. This workshop/event will therefore be taking place live and online and instructions will be sent to those who sign up on how to prepare and log in for the session. Trust us this is just as fun and with the same learning outcomes as our remote format mirrors our in person format!

To learn more about our approach to online learning and best practices for remote classrooms, check out this video (NB: the event experience will differ slightly to this).

For more information of General Assembly’s response, check out our latest updates here. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to our student services team at sydney@generalassemb.ly.
