Here at GA, we often talk about product management and user experience design in terms of tech products — wireframing, agile software development, usability testing. But all those same principles of Design Thinking and Product Management apply not only for tech products but also for products you can touch, hold, and feel. We are going to consider the similarities and differences in the role of design and product management in creating physical products.

We'll explore the following questions and more!

• How is the product management process implemented?
• What is the priority in product design? Safety? Functionality? Aesthetic?
• How can we take what we learn from physical product designers & product managers, and apply that to tech?
