Between a global pandemic that disproportionately harms Black and Brown communities, increasing publicity of racial violence and trauma, and the renewed rise of mass shootings in the US, the mental well-being of BIPOC has been under attack. How should a workplace support their BIPOC employees, especially when this community is experiencing very public collective trauma? What resources should be provided? How can employees safeguard their mental well-being? How should managers and senior leaders address race-related trauma and stress?
In partnership with Tech Can [Do] Better, General Assembly presents Mental Health in the Workplace: Supporting Black & Brown Professionals, a panel event for Black and Brown people and their employers on how to foster healthier and safer work environments in a world that is particularly chaotic for these communities.
