Home to world-class artisans, craftsmen, and fashion designers, our metropolis boasts a whole range of everything original from wardrobe staples to high-end statement pieces that proudly don the tag “Made-In-Singapore”.
With a projected revenue of $470m in 2020 and annual growth rate of 12.6%, Singapore’s fashion industry is definitely one to watch. There, however, is still a long way to go and hoops to jump over, some of which include unsustainable production capacities, high rents, and low awareness of local brands, before local players can capture the hearts (and wallets) of consumers.
