“Leaders become great not because of their power, but because of their ability to empower others.” - John Maxwell
Leadership is no longer about telling people what to do, it’s about inspiring your people to solve problems on their own and achieve a common vision.
So how do you do it?
How do you get the balance right between clear guidance and autonomy? How you do you achieve a high level of performance without being a micromanager?
In this interactive workshop, we’ll show how you can empower, rather than micromanage, your team to make a shared vision a reality through two critically important tools: powerful one-to-one conversations and radically honest feedback and. At the end of the workshop, we’ll create a personal leadership roadmap to help you put your learnings into action.
You'll be taught by Melissa Andrada, ex Wolff Olins whose methodologies and thinking are based on work and interviews with some of the industry's most inspiring leaders including Claire Davenport, CEO of Hello Fresh; Leena Nair, Chief HR Officer at Unilever; David Young, Former Head of Leadership at BT; and Stephan Thoma, Former Global L&D Director at Google. Melissa will share some of her own personal experiences and battle scars as a leader -- from serving on the board of a social justice nonprofit as a 17-year-old student to innovating the business model of a 50-year-old organisation as an intrapreneur to now re-inventing learning as the workplace as the COO and Chief Learning Officer of Learnerbly, a fast-growing, VC-backed startup.
