About this workshop

A briskly paced course designed to teach you the essentials of programming for iOS devices, covering basic architecture of an iPhone app and the essential Apple API used. You don't need to be a code guru to learn iOS, but you should have some programming experience in a C based language such as C, C++, Java, PHP, ActionScript 3, etc. Object oriented programming experience will be helpful.

This class will teach you what you need to know about the Interface Builder (now part of Xcode) and iOS Simulator used for testing. You'll also learn programming patterns in Objective-C as well as the essential principles you'll need to write robust iOS code.

Prereqs & Preparation
