About This Workshop

Bring your creative ideas to life with Adobe Illustrator, the industry-standard vector graphics software, used by web designers and developers who want to create digital graphics, logos, and icons that are ideal for responsive websites. This workshop is designed to get you started with Adobe Illustrator's basic toolset in just one day. The focus will be on step-by-step demonstration and instruction leading students through the most important tools and concepts in Illustrator.

Prereqs & Preparation

This is an introductory course designed for first time and beginning Illustrator users. No prior experience with Illustrator is required for this class. All students must be able to bring a laptop to each class (Mac preferred). You will need to have Adobe Illustrator version CS4 or higher already downloaded on this laptop for the start of class. The full version of Adobe Illustrator CS6 or the free 30-day trial version of it can be found at http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator.

About the Instructor

Artist and Full Stack Web Developer

Max Lewis graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2010 with a major in Painting and Art History. Since then he has kept himself busy with classes in creating digital images using Adobe Creative Suite and taking the Web Development Immersive Course at GA in DC. Max loves sharing his knowledge of these programs with anyone who wants to learn!
