Don't miss our Skill Seeker Series from Sept 30 - Oct 30.
Photoshop is one of the most in-demand tools for UI Designers today, yet it takes hours of wading through tutorials to learn how to use it to design interfaces. In this workshop, get up to speed on the most useful Photoshop techniques and tools - you’ll leave the class with more confidence in not only using the software, but also tackling future UI projects.
The class will be a crash course in everything from opening up a document, to setting up a workspace, and finally making a hi-fidelity mockup of a mobile or website interface.
Students who take the class will leave with a confidence in knowing and using the most-common tools in Photoshop for UI design, and build a strong base for learning more advanced UI techniques. Coming from a UX background, Oz will teach students to understand UI in the context of the entire UX Design process.
This class is ideal for people who are new to design and/or Photoshop, and don’t know how to use the Adobe Suite for UI design.
A copy of Photoshop CS6 and above. The instructor will be using Photoshop CC, but for the sake of the exercise most students with older copies of Photoshop should be fine.
