About this class

UX designers have a responsibility to enable the user to efficiently achieve their goals - whether that is through web design or product design. Designers also have the opportunity to help a business achieve its goals by understanding the optimum user behavior and designing to guide the user to this desired behavior.

This class will discuss how to approach behavioral design as another aspect of user centered design. Students will learn how to incorporate behavior models into their design process. By understanding the desired behavior, designers can determine which mental models are most influential to the user.

  • How to balance business goals with user goals
