This class enables students to broaden their SQL skills to retrieve and manipulate data from multiple sources into timely, cohesive, informative analysis.
This is an intermediate level course. Students who join this course must have an understanding of SQL fundamentals including the use of the following command line functions: SELECT queries that include FROM, WHERE, ORDER BY, LIMIT, familiarity with using GROUP BY and HAVING in SELECT queries, and a general understanding of accessing remote/cloud databases.
If you are a beginner, we recommend that you start with our SQL Bootcamp.

Nigel was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Awarded a Presidential Scholarship to study economics at Hampton University. He then returned to NYC to complete his Bachelors in Economics at New York University. He worked in credit derivative markets at Goldman Sachs and Old Lane before founding The Street Academy for Financial Literacy, a non-profit serving over 1000 NYC youth annually. Today, Nigel is the Co-Founder and COO at BALLSTAR, a social database for global basketball statistics.
