Gary Morris’ presentation will include discussion of the United States patent application process, IP coverage and international patents (PTC). Touching upon decades of experience as an IP lawyer, he will discuss examples of IP protection failures, how it cost the companies and how they could have done better. He will also go through details of how to protect an IP during the process of patent registration. Lastly, Gary will cover the evolving nature of electronic copyright and where it might go in the future. The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes and there will be a Q&A session.
