    About this event

"Beeple sold an NFT for $69 million.” Say what?

Are you like most of us who hadn’t heard of NFTs before this and are wondering what an NFT is and why it is worth millions of dollars? And who’s leading this unprecedented movement that’s taking the world by storm?

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are the latest blockchain craze to gain attention in mainstream media. Each NFT is a unique, “one-of-a-kind” asset without interchangeable properties. Unlike bitcoins or cash, it cannot be substituted for equivalency. While some believe that NFTs are a short-term hype in the collectibles space, others think that these could make a long-term impact on industries like gaming. Whatever the case, there sure is a lot of enthusiasm around NFTs in recent times and it will last for a while.

Hear from the women leaders taking the lead in this quickly expanding space! They will share insights into how they got into NFT in the first place and progressed to where they are today, the unique opportunities and challenges of being a women leader in NFT, the successful projects and initiatives under their leadership, and what’s next in this exciting realm.

This event series is of course open to all genders — anyone who supports the careers of women in business and tech is welcome to attend.
