About this workshop

Since Sarah Koenig launched Serial in 2014, podcasting has taken the world by storm and is quickly becoming one of the most powerful ways to communicate your ideas, passions, and unique insights to an engaged audience. The problem is, most people who are keen to get started worry that launching a podcast is a tonne of work. The truth is, it’s not that complicated, as long as you have a plan.

In this interactive workshop, we will review all aspects of launching your podcast. You’ll learn the importance of discovering what kind of format you want for your podcast, as well as the keys to how to launch a podcast on a shoestring budget using your smartphone. Additionally, we’ll dig into what it takes to get your podcast on iTunes and creative ways to market your episodes once they’re live.

This workshop aims to demystify the process of launching your first podcast so you feel ready and confident to go out into the world and create your first episode right away.
