About this class

The sheer volume of content being published, plus the rise of new publications (particularly online) has seen more people attempt to get their work published, many without an understanding of what it takes.

This class will provide an insight into how to find and connect with editors, what to include and what to remove from your initial correspondence, how to pitch, how to plan and write your articles and how to deal with criticism or rejection. It will also include an overview of what to expect in terms of payment.

This class is ideal for aspiring writers wanting to get published for the first time, bloggers who want to get published in mainstream publications and people who have pitched to magazines /websites but been rejected.

This is not a class for people looking to get a book published.
