About this event

Want to work on a UX project that creates real impact? Join us for this fast-paced UX Design Hackathon at General Assembly, in conjunction with City of Melbourne for Melbourne Knowledge Week 2017.

Teams of designers, budding designers and entrepreneurial thinkers will spend a day redesigning an online experience. You will combine skills in user research, ideation and rapid prototyping, and mentors from the General Assembly community will be on-hand to help flesh out your ideas.

What can I expect on the day?

  1. Form teams, get briefed on the problem statement, and brainstorm a digital solution
  2. Pick up some lean UX techniques from our mentors
  3. Put your new-found UX skills into practice and design a lo-fi prototype
  4. Demo your prototype and present your recommendations to City of Melbourne, for the chance to win prizes
