    About this event

The map of entrepreneurship in America is expanding with cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Austin joining Silicon Valley and New York City as metropoles where venture capital, philanthropy, and crowdfunding pour in at increasingly rapid rates. Yet while more urban hubs are continuing to draw in entrepreneurs from all around the country and world due to their recognized impact ecosystems, some entrepreneurs working within smaller urban areas and rural spaces have found innovative methods to create outsized impact despite lesser immediate access to such densely interwoven resource networks.

This panel will discuss the differences, potential challenges, and creative solutions to starting and operating a social enterprise in rural and smaller urban areas compared to larger metropoles within the United States.
