As London’s agencies, tech start-ups, creative and cultural sectors become clearer about their existing skills gaps and more overt in recognising their current lack of workforce diversity, there is urgent need to create a learning infrastructure that better meets the needs of this fast moving and growing economic sector and the needs of young Londoners.
Hear about two innovative programmes bringing young people from a range of backgrounds into careers in creative and tech. Join industry experts, employers, thinkers and makers in the education, training and creative / tech space to discuss how and where we can and should be thinking afresh.
Digital Pipeline LDN an employment and training programme combining front end web development with digital creative and personal development. Digital Pipeline LDN is delivered by A New Direction, D&AD and General Assembly as part of the Mayor of London's Digital Talent Programme. Flipside is an industry led digital product design course design skills with growth mindsets and industry experience. The programme has been co-created by Beyond, Made by Many, Sennep, ustwo together with A New Direction, Ada: National College for Digital Skills and the London Legacy Development Corporation.
