About this class

A well-designed financial model helps you determine financing needs, acts as your company’s "resume" to financing parties, and serves as a valuable tool for negotiating with investors. The best models show how you will scale your business and effectively utilize your funding. This class is geared towards entrepreneurs looking to develop a financial model for the purpose of securing funding from investors. In this workshop you’ll review real-life startup examples to help you understand the basics of a financial model, what investors/partners are looking for, what you can do yourself, and when you may need to get a specialist.
