Productivity is an outdated concept in a rapidly changing world. What's needed today is not working faster and faster, but changing how we work in the first place. This requires breaking old habits and creating new ones, not only to improve productivity itself, but everything that supports it: health, wellbeing, and creativity.
In this workshop we will borrow from diverse fields such as applied psychology, behavior design, and behavioral economics, targeting the three main components of habit formation: 1) Preparing your mindset 2) Structuring the environment 3) Streamlining the action. You will use these techniques to create a personalized behavioral plan for yourself, designing a new productivity-related habit. We will also discuss habits in the workplace context, including digital and physical tools, accountability, and follow-through.
