About this event
As part of General Assembly's Design Week, we are proud to present a panel of experts to share their insight on the Mountain-West vibrant design community. This free event is an orientation to help newcomers to Mountain West’s design scene get acquainted with this community. We will give you the inside scoop on key events and meetups, people, companies, resources, programs, and more. Additionally, we will dive into what kind of career opportunities are out there for designers and how do you get there. We know that designers come from different backgrounds and the paths that they’ve taken to launch their careers can look quite different. If you’re curious about how to get started or just looking for tips, we’ll hear from experts on their first steps into the field and key practices for landing a job.
Prereqs & Preparation
This event is taken completely online via Zoom. + You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
