About this event

For the very first time, DESIGN SALON BOSTON welcomes all creative businesses, makers, buyers and sellers to a brand new (co-ed) series: SHOP TALK. And we're kicking it off with a panel discussion on TRADE SHOWS featuring DESIGN SALON BOSTON co-founder, Jill Rosenwald.

Guided by Kathryn Yee of Bash Studio, this panel of local creatives will share their behind-the-scenes experiences as buyers and sellers who walk and sell at shows like NYNOW, the National Stationery Show or AmericasMart Atlanta. Here how Philip Sauls years at GAP has influenced how he shops for his men's shop, SAULT New England in the South End. With their many years of experience, we'll be discussing the investment, what buyers look for, what's involved and how to make a show successful in a very open and candid discussion.

And also learn more about DESIGN SALON BOSTON, a group of over 250 creative women started by Jill Rosenwald and Jill Palese in 2007 dedicated to helping one another connect and succeed. This diverse group of women meet casually once a month on a Tuesday night to talk shop, help answer tough questions, and learn from one another's unique experiences.

On Tuesday, October 5th, everyone is welcome! We hope to see you at WeWork / General Assembly for this special night!
