Want to work on a UX project that creates real impact? Join us for this fast-paced UX Design Hackathon at General Assembly, and work on WhyDev's aid worker peer support initiative.
Teams of designers, budding designers and entrepreneurial thinkers will spend a day redesigning an online experience. You will combine skills in user research, ideation and rapid prototyping, and mentors from the General Assembly community will be on-hand to help flesh out your ideas.
The UX challenge will be provided by WhyDev, and will involve redesigning an online experience for their peer to peer support program for aid workers. WhyDev want aid workers in the program to report increased levels of well being and resilience through a cost-effective method to link up isolated aid workers, and provide reciprocal coaching between pairs.
You! Come along if you’re excited about problem-solving, you’re a motivated, sharp, creative technologist who believes that design can be a tool for social change. No experience necessary. Come with our without a team.
