Working with real-world case studies, you’ll:
Chart your own career path. Pick up where this workshop leaves off. Enhance your professional skill set in our 10-week, part-time Data Science course or become job-ready with our 12-week, full-time Data Science Immersive program.
Bring a laptop. Install Anaconda beforehand. *Tip: Scroll to your operating system version and click on the install button for Anaconda with Python 2.7. Note: We'll be using Python version 2.7 in this workshop. If you are using a PC, please install the git for windows terminal beforehand.
-For students on Windows, you’ll need Microsoft Windows 8/10 (32- or 64-bit). For those with Macs, you’ll need the Mac OS X 10.8.5 or higher, up to 10.11.4 (El Capitan).
-Upgrade your operating system before class, if needed.
Students should have some basic technical aptitude, orientation to computers, and the curiosity to learn new tools.

Rob Hall is a product leader and data scientist who creates business value from data.
Rob leads the Product Management team at Jut, a big data analytics startup backed by Accel and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Prior to Jut, Rob led software product strategy at Stem, an energy startup at the nexus of real-time data, predictive analytics, and energy storage.
In addition to enterprise software, Rob has deep consumer Internet experience. At Overture and Yahoo!, Rob drove significant increases in monetization, relevance, and user engagement by applying machine learning algorithms. He has also launched search and social media products used by tens of millions of people every month. Rob graduated from Cornell University with a BS in Engineering and earned his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
