The right words matter. Especially when it comes to something complex such as technology. The right words can help potential investors understand the technical details, it can convince people to download an app, and even persuade parents to finally get an iPhone.
Being able to define and describe your brand’s mission, product or service in a few short sentences is a necessity. Whether you’re trying to explain how technology works or create an ad campaign, the message needs to be communicated in a clear, simple way everyone can understand.
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll get an overview of how to describe a tech brand’s mission, product or service through a series of writing exercises. We’ll start small by writing a few short sentences and work our way up to longer, more creative copy for websites, ad campaigns, and videos.
In order to include everybody in the writing exercises we will be using a shared Google Doc. If you wish to participate and receive feedback on your (anonymous) writing in real-time, you will need to have a Gmail account.
