About this workshop

CSS is used to control the presentation of HTML elements. Type specifications, colors, and layout are just some of the things that style sheets can control. In this class you will be introduced to how CSS works by example.

Prereqs & Preparation

Familiarity with basic HTML, such as what's taught in the HTML 101 course, is recommended. No equipment is required; however, the class includes plenty of opportunities to write and run the code samples on your own. If you'd like to code along with the examples used in the workshop, please bring the following:

• Laptop with power adapter if necessary
• A text editor (Sublime Text or Atom recommended)
• A browser (Chrome recommended)
