About this event

Leading diverse teams in a society that is deeply unequal puts you in a bind: you aspire to honor your commitment to anti-racism while navigating the mandate to get business results. How do you embody your leadership values of equity as you lead a diverse team in these circumstances? You have the opportunity to step up and learn the skills and mindset needed to bring clear, equitable, unbiased approaches. You can be the agent of change, empowering others, and elevating voices of color in the organization.

In this interactive session, you will learn how:

  • How your ideal of the perfect woke “ally” may be blocking you from making a difference as a “co-conspirator” to those you can be in solidarity with right now, today.

  • How to identify identity politics in your organization

  • Understand the connection between your own anti-racist journey and your ability to powerfully and effectively conduct business as you work in a diverse environment.

  • Learn how systems of dominant thinking in organizations marginalize a particular subset of groups to create inequality

  • Take a personal, guided journey into your own relationship with power, privilege, and racism

  • Learn how to continue your journey towards anti-racist leadership, and how to and become a resource to other folks who want to do the same

  • Women & Men in tech, d&I, and HR managers
