This class takes you through the process of identifying and developing those unique, innovative ideas that will solve problems. Workshopping will begin with the initial 'ideation' stage; from there we'll show you how to determine whether an idea is commercially viable, and how to turn your idea into a reality.
This class is suitable for technical and non-technical students alike. Ideally, you will have an interest in innovative products and entrepreneurship.
Following this class, you will be able to: - Identify a problem and use creative thinking to find a solution - Determine if the solution is cost effective and whether there is a business case - Workshop and rework a problem to pinpoint the ideal solution
No prerequisites other than a clear and open mind, and an ability to think outside the square. Entrepreneurial thinkers will be most suited to this class.
